Payments


Allowable forms of payment are VISA/MC which require a 2-3% added fee, American Express which requires a 5% added fee and personal or company check which does not require any added fee however the check will need to clear prior to shipment of your order. Watchseconds uses Authorize.net for processing credit card information securely. Since 1996 Authorize.net has been considered one of the most secure gateway providers in the merchant services industry. We use First Data Corp. to process credit transactions. 


Repairs


Use the form provided under 'Returns' to request an RMA (return merchandise authorization number) . Returns made for items under warranty will be repaired at no charge for any labor but may require added charges for parts. Should a parts charge apply then an estimate will be emailed prior to the repair for customer approval. If the repair parts are not approved no work will be done and the item will be mailed back to the customer. Shipping fees for repair items both to and from Watchseconds will be paid by the customer. Returns made for non-warranty repair will be charged for labor and for parts. An repair cost estimate will be emailed prior to the repair for customer approval. If the repair is not approved no work will be done and the item will be mailed back to the customer.


Warranties


Most Watchseconds warranties cover labor to repair to damage done during normal use. Normal use excludes excessive water, dirt, dust or shock damage. Damage to the band, crystal and case are likewise not included.  Your invoice will detail the length of the warranty period and whether it covers the cost to replace the damaged parts. Watchseconds only uses manufacturer approved parts.



Returns


Returns are generally allowed within 14 days of receipt i.e. the date of successful delivery shown on the carrier's tracking record.

The reason for the return will determine which type of refund will be given:

Type 1)  Not as described - Items for which photographic evidence can be provided to show a significant discrepancy between the listing text and/or photos and the actual item will be refunded in full including any shipping fees paid by customer.

Type 2)  Damaged or Broken -  Damaged or broken items whether damaged by the customer or the shipper must be returned to the Watchseconds Repair facility for repair after obtaining a return merchandise authorization. Please contact bench@watchseconds.com or use the Zform provided under Returns at the bottom of the webpage to obtain instructions for shipping and the return authorization. Damaged items returned for a refund will be considered Buyers Remorse returns (class 3) and will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee which will be deducted from the refund. In addition if parts are missing the cost of the missing parts will also be assessed and deducted. 

Type 3)  Buyers Remorse - Returns which are requested due to the customer changing their mind after the item ships will be refunded in full less any shipping and less a 20% re-stocking fee.
